Some game developers use Red Shell to fingerprint gamers for marketing purposes, and gamers are not happy, forcing many to remove it.
Bloody creepy if you ask me, and since GDPR... very very naughty, no wonder these devs want to remove it, the push back from the EU will be enormous. ... cking-gdpr
These are the games that committed to removing Red Shell:

Conan Exiles (Pledged to remove it)
Ylands (Pledged to remove it)

Secret World Legends (Pledged to remove remains of it)
Hunt: Showdown (Pledged to remove it)

I see why it's done but they don't need to do it.
Seriously, why are they interested in what adverts i click when im playing for example CIV VI? - nothing at all of interest ... no-one is clicking adverts while playing that.
So they are tracking what you do outside of the game and that has nothing to do with anyone at all. It's a bit creepy.
