You've got to see your case in person, with the 3 front fans and the LED's it really does stand out. No picture will do it justice.

ive currently got my pc hooked up to samsung 65inch tv in pc mode - until i can get some decent monitors, i need 2.
Prolly looking at UHD and response below 4 and possible free sync.

It's hard to look at monitors - another thing you need to see in person but very rarely can you ever.
Before this build i was running a 144hz monitor with 1080p as max res.

I'm in two minds whether to use a monitor as a tv aswell, and sell this 65" TV.

65inch bloody hell, I thought I was pushing it at 43inch. That said, I do see 3 feet away from it and it's just about right. I don't have to pan my head around. While I was waiting for the Acer monitor to be repaired, I used my old 48inch TV and it was too big.
Are you going back to 144hz, if so that'll be a bit costly if you do and go 4K too.

Well we'll see, seen a few monitors at 100hz with freesync and 1440p on amazon, like the acer one and others for 250-300 each.
But yeah its a tricky one.

I've spent so much cash on gadgets this last 2 months though.
Just not long bought a switch, which i still have hardly played @InfiniteStates lol
I'm also waiting on astro a50 headset, plus i've spent a small fortune on this pc. Then there's VR and all that acessories stuff lol.

So yeah... just not sure what i've been wanting to play recently but now my pc is pretty much a beast i'm gunna stick on it.. also got anthem and battlefield V with the gtx aswell.

I've not played BF V yet, I only got my code today... effing Curry's took an age. I'm not sold on anthem, though it looks good.

I had an Acer ET430 and it was simply stunning, 43inch 4K HDR, really nice colour reproduction, fonts looks so smooth and clean, not like fonts on a TV. But the LED's started to flicker, sent it off, got it back, all was fine for a few weeks, same again. Swapped it for a 43inch Sony Bravia 4K HDR TV... the monitor was miles better. But curry's had not a single alternative in that size.

This looks horrible on my TV, but on the monitor, it looked perfect, no bleeding.

been lookin at these Daz.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0754KZF67

I'm on the fence like, they seem extremely good for the price and review well.
I need 2 so the price is also decent.

Sadly the OGP Parser doesn't work for amazon links...

2x1080p monitors? So sold school :)
Why two and not UHD? for Nvidia surround gaming you'd also need three monitors, but of you're not bothered...

If you don't mind buying one monitor, I can verify that ultrawide monitors are seriously nice for movies (no black bars, but widescreen movies have them on the side), and handy for games as the extra wide screenspace give excellent peripheral vision.
This one supports almost 4K, sadly it's amost the price of 2 monitors.
https://www.cclonline.com/product/lg-34 ... k-34um88c/

I used to have (LG) one running at 2560x1080 and I sold it to move into 4K HDR gaming, but boy do I miss it for movies and the extra width for gaming.

Plus, 34 inch sounds small, but it's almost as wide as a 42inch TV, simply because it's corner to diagonal corner and UW corners are further away. Simply put, they're bigger than you realise.

There's absolutely no benefit in console gaming though, they're for widescreen only.

I'm going to have to take a look at the MagicOGP parser plugin and see why it's not displaying amazon links.

Sorted it, it was a conflict between plugins.

Testing... though there's no image, it does get the description.

I thought I might as well add 5PX rounded corners too :)

Gotta send 1 monitor back tomorrow - it's flickering in the controls area - looks like pixels turning off n on.
No problem though, amazon will collect and replace tomorrow :)
