Throw out all your gaming gadgets, Stadia is coming

Yes I know another streaming game service, at least this one is by Google, and it's called Stadia.

Re: Quake 2 got a Raytracing upgrade

Oh and on topic, Nvidia just jumped in and did some work on Quake 2 RTX. Massively boosting visuals in the process. https://www.overclock3d.net/news/software/quake_ii_rtx_revealed_by_nvidia_-_q2vkpt_just_got_better/1 Visual samples (before and after here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/qu...

Re: Quake 2 got a Raytracing upgrade

And some excellent news from Nvidia. DXR Will be enabled in drivers for the 10 series cards, though they don't have RT cores, they can still manage the heavy lifting required... or can they? If they struggle and I imagine they will, then it's a bold move from Nvidia in the hopes that it will make pe...

Surprising tech that goes nowhere

The 3DS is an excellent example of technology that goes nowhere. Since it was introduced in March 2011 the 3DS has been one of Nintendoes best selling handheld consoles, it featured 2 screens, the top one being 3D and the bottom one being a smaller 2D screen. While the 3D screen was new to consoles ...

It's a damn good game but now I've finished it, I don't fancy grinding strongholds over and over and on harder difficulties... you only get gear that makes grinding easier... ZERO ENDGAME here.

Triple Frontier - Netflix Original
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1488606/

I've read that most people don't get the ending and have scored it down a little.... I say these people need to grow up.

It's an excellent heist movie and probably worth more than 7.0 on IMDB.

Re: The Official Anthem by Bioware from EA Games Forum Thread

I've really got into the game now, it's really damned good. Though there are still a lot of issues, especially loot drops now the patch hit. But so far I'm 100+ hours in and loving it. I'm now level 30 and doing so much damage it's funny. Plus Masterwork loot. I've got an assault rifle and 2 pistols...

Re: The Official Marvel Avengers Forum Thread

I've just got back from seeing Captain Mavel, here are my thoughts. Right away I've got to dispell some myths and really bad publicity, it's an awesome film, Brie Larson made Captain Marvel her role. Does it yell out loud from the pulpit? No, is it all about female entitlement? No, does it empower w...

Jan-Michael Vincent RIP

Sadly another icon died this week, Jan-Michael Vincent of Airowlf fame. Of course J-MV was famous for many other roles including The Mechanic (the 1972 original opposite Charles Bronson) but will forever be remembered for his character in Airwolf, Stringfellow Hawk (not the nightclub owner, that was...

Re: Satisfactory Official Forum Thread

I've had no crashes, but I agree, besides the 3D gameplay, it's factorio, and the tech tree seems deliberately extended to make you play for longer to unlock stuff. Once you have the groundwork for the simple machines, then more complex machines are just as easy. It's the logistics and building the ...
