Re: Subnautica

It looks like Below Zero is a stand alone game and doesn't require the original subnautica.

Re: Should PS3/4 OS be open source?

I was looking at Wikipedia and all the games released for the PS3... OMG.
Some belters amongst the chaff.

Re: PC Building Simulator

It's monotonous, dull, boring, and yet strangely addictive. I love it!!

Re: Should PS3/4 OS be open source?

Just a little sidenote, ID Software made the original Doom Series and Quake series open source. They released all the source code.
What a move, it made things like GL Quake and the new RTX Quake 2 possible, and as a result, still relevant today.

PC Building Simulator

I had no idea it was this in-depth, I honestly thought it was basic, had no specific manufacturers and was just a bit of fun. Apparently I'm very wrong. It does go into detail and has a massive list of official supported partners. I don't know if it's any fun, or how long it takes to build and cable...

Re: Should PS3/4 OS be open source?

Will Nintendo keep offering obscure, old games and spend money on hosting them on the company's servers if they're not going to turn a profit? This is the problem, and it's happening faster than ever, how often do you hear of games that were released 5 years ago having servers shutdown? https://www...

Re: Should PS3/4 OS be open source?

If not the PS4, then what about the PS3, it's still insecure and like I said, it's an almost dead console, so at least open source the OS so PC's can run PS3 games. Might it even open up more users to PSN and keep people buying from the PSN store? Plus if a PC boot directly into the OS (no windows/O...

Should PS3/4 OS be open source?

Just a drunken hypothetical question, should Sony make their operating system open source? The PS3 is almost impossible to replicate properly in emulation, the cell processor was just to different from anything made at the time or since, and it's a dead or dying platform. But with the right tools an...

Devs caught spying on gamers

Some game developers use Red Shell to fingerprint gamers for marketing purposes, and gamers are not happy, forcing many to remove it. Bloody creepy if you ask me, and since GDPR... very very naughty, no wonder these devs want to remove it, the push back from the EU will be enormous. https://www.wire...

Re: Monitor Question

If you arent playing any demanding games, but theres no point in having great gfx cards and top of the line hardware to skimp on a monitor.... it's all about gsync/freesync now lol. I've got to agree, though I've yet to own a fast monitor, I have played with them at CCL computers and games like bat...
