Conan Doyle’s most famous creation is big at the moment, what with the stylish and cool Guy Ritchie movie in cinemas and the even more stylish and cool BBC TV show thrilling us on Sunday nights. So what better time to take a look at the other side of the coin to the world’s greatest detective and his dauntless companion in the new book, Moriarty - The Hound of the D’urbevilles.... more.

Film Review: Kill List
0 CommentsPosted by Tomcat on January 10, 2012 under General News, Universe News
Kill List, Directed by Ben Wheatley, (Down Terrence) has been called one of the best films of 2011 by many, and I would agree. But, it is also one of the most disappointing. Like masturbation, it feels like it’s all well and good at the time, but when it’s over you are left with the feeling of; “what was that all about, really?” (Please say that’s not just m... more.

Dungeon Defenders Playstation 3 review
1 CommentsPosted by Dazbobaby on December 29, 2011 under All Games, Highlights3, New Releases
I was given this game to review only because Symonator or InfiniteStates were too busy to do a review, and no one else was even close to volunteering. It is christmas after all. I'm also not a fan of RPGs at all. My poison is battlefield bad company, battlefield 3 M.A.G. Or if I'm pushed, some modern warfare. I did give dark souls a go last week and kind of liked it, but it didn't qu... more.

Rabbit Hole iDevice Music Visualizer

It's finally arrived, a music visualizer for iDevices. I have the iPad version and so far... it's AMAZING! Sure the iPad/iPhone and iPod dont have tonnes of horsepower under the hood, so it's never going to be as badass as winamp visualizers, but it's still very good and effective. It works with it's own inbuilt music player or a microphone, do you really need an... more.

ColorBlast! iPad App Review

We've all seen those photo's where it's completely black and white apart from one focal point that it's colour, right? I for one am envious of the skill required to create them, they do look very nice. But I'm envious no more, now I have ColorBlast! It's possibly the easiest image manipulation tool I've ever used, granted this is all it does, but it do... more.

iPad Review: Jelly Defence

t wasn't that long ago that I played my first ever Tower Defence game: Pixel Junk Monsters on the PS3. Since then I've run with a few others, but none as uniquely graphical as Jelly Defence. As you can see it's a beautiful looking game, very stylized and attention seeking. Best yet, it's not the best part of the game, that is reserved for the gameplay. It'... more.

Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Review

So Battlefield 3 has been out for a couple of weeks now, and the singleplayer has had mixed reviews, from astounding to disjointed, but how does the multiplayer stack up?So as you can see from the above screenshot, the game looks lovely. There are however some serious flaws in the multiplayer game.Overall it's still first and foremost a Battlefield game, it requires strategy and teamwork to compl... more.

Battlefield 3 Review/Comparison
3 CommentsPosted by theENIGMATRON on November 6, 2011 under New Releases, Playstation
The Official Battlefield twitter account posted a status http://twitter.com/#!/Battlefield/statu ... 6831098881asking to describe what you think about BF3 in 2 words... I replied - No Depth. And this is why. The first time I discovered Battlefield was when I tried Bad Company 1 demo on PSN store. When I picked up a sniper rifle (yes aren't we all?) and made my first successful leading... more.

Sony 7.1 Wireless Headset and Mic review

by Dazbobaby on Sat Oct 22, 2011 8:46 pm I got talked into buying these headphones in Canada by Jay (xXMcLovinXx), and if you thought we liked gadgets, we got nothing on him trust me. He's got some triton 5.1 cans, and they sound amazing, deep bass and crystal clear vocals and high end. But for £200+ they ought to be. He let me test both headsets, and while ... more.

Mercury Hg by Eiconic/Ignition Review
0 CommentsPosted by theENIGMATRON on under Highlights3, New Releases, Playstation
The basis of this game is that you direct a blob of mercury across a platform by tilting the surface to make it slide, collect the atoms that are dotted around the board and exit at the finishing square. Along the way you’ll be required to steer clear of obstacles that get progressively more difficult and the ever present threat of sliding from the board completely. You hav... more.
